Dance and Music Series
Monthly Dance Party (Saturday)
International dance program with live music, Monthly event, often hybrid. (Belmont, MA)
Thursday Night Folk Dancing
Experienced level international folk dance teaching and request dancing, year-round. (Arlington, MA)
Friday Night Folk Dancing
Mostly Waltz for Boston
The Sunday afternoon dance series and waltz weekends, September to June. (Concord, MA)
Outdoor Summer Dances
Folk Dancing, Tuesdays in July and August. (Boston, MA)
Special Events
Balkan Music Night
Annual feast of Balkan music and dance.
Victorian Ball
Annual, late-winter, nineteenth century style formal ball, with music by Spare Parts and caller Chris Ricciotti.
New Year's Eve Dance Party
FAC rings in the New Year with an evening of international folk dancing to live music, plus festive decorations, plentiful refreshments, and a midnight toast.
Benefit Online Auction
Online fundraising auction that allows us to reach bidders outside our community such as collectors, antique dealers, and resellers. All proceeds directly support FAC's programming.
