About the Dances
We are excited to provide this free, outdoor, multi-genre, participatory dance series for the FAC and Greater Boston communities.
Each dance will offer basic instruction by an experienced leader, music (live and occasionally recorded), and a welcoming atmosphere. It is not necessary to have previous dance experience or to dance with a partner. To learn more about folk dancing, click here. We look forward to seeing you in Dewey Square!
About the Location
This year we will be returning to Dewey Square Park on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. It is just steps from South Station, next to the Federal Reserve Building, and is located in front of a larger-than-life mural which you can see and learn more about here.
Here is a Google Maps link to Dewey Square. We encourage everyone to take public transportation if possible. If you are driving in from points north we suggest parking at Alewife (red line) or Assembly Square (orange line) to access public transport.
