Cutting a Rug

with Marcie Van Cleave

Sunday afternoons: 5–6:00pm EST

Online via Zoom - To benefit the Folk Arts Center of New England

The Folk Arts Center is pleased to announce a new dance series on Sunday afternoons with Executive Director Marcie Van Cleave, beginning this Sunday (February 21). Each week's gathering will feature dances from a variety of cultures and traditions; the sessions will begin with the teaching for about 45 minutes, followed by non-taught repeats and requests! It will also include lots of laughter as we join together to cut a rug.

In addition to being the FAC Director, Marcie has taught dancing both around Boston and around the world for over 30 years. It gives her great joy to be able to continue the practice via Zoom, and looks forward to seeing old friends on Sunday afternoon, as well as making new ones!
