The Folk Arts Center is pleased to support the monthly Barn Dance series at the Parish Center for the Arts (PCA) in Westford, MA.

About the Dances

The Westford Barn Dances is a dance series that began in the Fall of 2000 with the band Oh CONTRAire! The definition of a Barn Dance is, according to Oxford Languages, “an informal social gathering for square dancing, originally held in a barn”. The PCA was built in 1829, and, while a historic place full of charm, it was never a barn! Nevertheless, the Barn Dance series fits in well with the historic and family-friendly setting!
