in collaboration with Stockton Folk Dance Camp

Once again, the Folk Arts Center is collaborating with Stockton Folk Dance Camp to bring you hours of dance and storytelling fun! This summer there will be two Saturday afternoons with a total of six dance leaders and musicians!

About the Workshops

This week we will thoroughly enjoy a workshop with Cesar Garfiaz - known to many for his ardent love of the dance genre he began dancing at the age of 7 - Salsa!

After Cesar's hour-long workshop, we will then bask in the company of Sonia and Cristian for 90 minutes, as they share with us their beloved Romanian dances, plus stories and videos on all sorts of topics!

For many years Cesar has studied various styles of dance including Afro-Cuban, Ghanaian, hip hop, house, Mexican Folklorico, and modern.
