Dance is free but all donations are appreciated. Donations support these events, leaders, musicians, and the Folk Arts Center.
About the Party
Every year the Folk Arts Center celebrates the year that has just passed and looks forward to what’s ahead for our community with a free dance party. This year the dance will unite friends near and far, as it will held both in person at the Concord Scout House and live-streamed via Zoom!
It’s been a wild two years for everyone, making the ability to be together, whether in the same dance hall or in the same Zoom room, extra special. Please join us - stay for one dance, or stay for the entire evening - it will just be nice to be together. The Pinewoods Band will be our motivation to dance, to smile, and to look forward to a future with lots more music, dance, and community.
The Pinewoods Band members are: Tom Pixton (director), Ralph Iverson, Barbara Pixton, Julia Poirier, David Skidmore, Brian Wilson, Patrick Yacono, and Niki Yeracaris.
In-Person Attendance
We are limiting attendance at the in-person dance to 90, and requiring VAX/booster and wearing masks while indoors. If you plan to attend in person please register in advance and be prepared to show your vaccination card at the door.
