About the Presentation

Jan’s presentation will captivate us with stories about the history, traditions, and customs in the Czech Republic from two personal perspectives: from when he was a child, and now that he is a parent.

About Jan

Jan Pumpr was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic, and lives there still. His familiarity with Czech folk art and traditions stems from a variety of sources: living them, as a teacher of traditional Czech dances, and as a tour leader for cultural trips to every nook and cranny of the country.
