Most of the dances on the program will be taught or can be easily followed.

Move to the music of the world!

  • Admission $10
  • FAC members $8
  • Students (aged 8 and up) $5
  • Under age 8 free

Beginners and experienced dancers, singles, couples, and groups are all welcome!

Marcie Van Cleave and guest teachers provide a fun program for new and experienced dancers alike at FAC’s Friday folk dance. In a typical evening, several dances are taught or called, and most others can be followed by watching the leading dancers. It is not necessary to have previous dance experience or to attend with a partner. For more information about what happens at our Friday dances, see What is folk dancing or call the FAC office at 781-438-4387.

Please help protect the hall’s wooden floor by changing to clean, soft-soled shoes before dancing. For the comfort and well-being of all our dancers, especially those with allergies or asthma, please do not wear perfume or fragranced personal products at our dances. Thank you!
