About the Presentation
Are you staring (again!) into the fridge at a disparate assortment of food and wondering how to turn it into a meal? Would you like an audience while you do it? Then come Cook and Kibitz with Barbara Model, Marcie, and the Folk Arts Center.
What do you have in your fridge of miscellaneous stuff? Wonderful zap-ready leftovers, a piece of fresh fish that you can pan-fry in 10 minutes, sad veggies, dribs and drabs of odd items, or some impulse purchase you’re not quite sure how to use? Fear not, these are the makings of your Improvised Dinner.
Whether you are at a complete loss or all your ideas are tired – or YOU are tired and want an easy dinner faster, cheaper, and healthier than takeout pizza – this is the session for you. Using your innate creativity and Barbara’s knowhow, we’ll put dinner on the table together!
A professional caterer she is known to those attending the FAC Pinewoods sessions and Oktoberfest parties for making pretty food. She says “I’ve been cooking since I was five years old and could reach the stove. I worked many years writing marketing and sales training materials for food-related companies, and then got a master’s degree in nutrition, which gave me official permission to cook for a living. After that friends started calling with catering gigs and referrals. Now more than 20 years later, I keep failing to say no to friends.”
After payment is received, a confirmation email will be sent with a download link. The license provided is limited to your personal use. By using the link, you agree not to share the materials. Videos cannot be downloaded, but can be viewed as often as you like.
