Description
A Glint o’ Scottish Fiddle has been tailor made for lovers of the violin. The fiddle takes centre stage of course, treating the listener to the most beautiful and some lesser-played Scottish fiddle tunes as well as some contemporary ones by the likes of Donald Shaw, Phil Cunningham and the late Angus R. Grant. As for Alistair Iain Paterson, he follows every note with impeccable style, breathing life into the tunes as if they are being played for the very first time.
Fiddle by Patsy Reid; piano by Alistair Iain Paterson; recorded by Jamie Pryke; mixed by Jamie Pryke & Patsy Reid; mastered by Stuart Hamilton at Castlesound; design by James Morrison. (2018)
