TITLE -- EVENTS

Monthly Dance Party

April 27 8:00pm Belmont, MA

Come dance with us at the FAC Monthly Dance Party this Saturday!

Das Goot will be the usual talented tribe (did you know “tribe” is one of the collective nouns for goats?): Dean Brown, Ralph Iverson, Heather Lee, Julia Poirier, David Skidmore, Dana Sussman, David Traugot, Brian Wilson, Niki Yeracaris, and stalwart band herder—I mean, leader—Patrick Yacono.

They will play for our dancing and listening pleasure, and Mari Young will run a program based on requests. It will also be Zoomed, so if you cannot make it in person, join us online. Contributions to the refreshments table are always welcome. Don’t miss it!

Access the free Zoom link in our shop.

Melrose Community Dance

April 28 10:30am Melrose, MA

Brought to you by the generosity of Molly's Bookstore, The Melrose Arts Council, and the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts, I am delighted to lead the second of a series of four community dances in Melrose this coming Sunday morning!

Featuring dances from Bulgaria to French Canada, and lots of places in-between, we will dance, cavort, laugh, and create community together.

Bring friends! Bring kids! Bring your parents! Really - one can't ask for the better start to a weekend day!

--Marcie

Note: There is no Thursday or Friday Night Dance this week due to the church's annual rummage sale.

Mostly Waltz

April 28 • 2:00pmConcord, MA

Come join us on Sunday afternoon for waltzing and couple dancing at the Scout House, featuring the driving music of Eric Eid-Reiner and Ron Grosslein of Moving Violations.

Tim Lamm will teach American slow waltz basics for the pre-dance lesson from 2 - 3pm, including some variations that work for moderate tempos too. We hope to see you there!
