Thursday Night Folk Dancing - with Gogofski!

February 15, Arlington, MA

Right on the heels of last Friday's amazing Bulgarian Night with Divi Zheni, Zornitsa, and Tatiana, and with March's Balkan Music Night fast approaching, Thursday Night Folk Dancing is proud to join the Balkan Parade of excellent live music.

Gogofski

We invite you to dance the night away with us tomorrow night for a fabulous Live Music Party with Gogofski! Band members Dave Golber, Gawain Thomas, Henry Goldberg, and singer Kasia Sokalla will give us a divine program of our favorite dances.

Masks are optional (but entirely welcome) at FAC dance events.

Monthly Dance Party

with the Flying Squirrel Orchestra

February 24, Belmont, MA

Come one, come all to FAC's Monthly Dance Party on Saturday, Feb. 24! This dance is FREE to all current FAC members, as it immediately follows our Annual General Meeting at 7 pm. If you haven't renewed your membership yet for 2024, no worries - you'll be able to do so at the door or online, and still get in to the dance FREE! (Entrance is $15 for non-members.)

Dance to the stylings of the Flying Squirrel Orchestra and enjoy our usual drinks and snacks, supplemented by some excellent desserts! The Board of Directors and the Saturday night team are thrilled to host this event, and hope to see you there!

Mostly Waltz for Boston

Waltz Weekend

March 22-24, Concord, MA

We are excited to offer a special weekend of workshops with dance teacher and historian from New Haven, CT, Susan de Guardiola

The weekend will feature a mix of cross-step and rotary waltz workshops, plus ragtime foxtrot, couple sequence dances, and polka!

Registration is now open and an early bird discount is available through February 29th! See the event page for the full schedule.

Cross-step waltz is one of Susan’s specialties -- easy to learn, yet endlessly innovative and creative for experienced dancers. We hope you can join us!
