Parking for Balkan Music Night
FREE parking is available at the lots listed here, all located within walking distance of the Somerville Armory (191 Highland Ave, Somerville). Note: the parking lot behind the Armory is reserved for our performers and volunteers.
Armory overflow lot
- 71 Belmont St.
- space for 28 cars
- walking distance to the Armory: 0.3 mile
- As you drive on Belmont St. toward Highland Ave. it is the first lot on your right; you know it is the right place by the unmanned guard shack at the entrance.
St. Catherine of Genoa Church lot
- 75 Belmont St.
- adjacent to the Armory overflow lot
- space for 90 cars
- walking distance to the Armory: 0.3 mile
- While not officially a public lot, we have been informed that they won't object to our parking there for that Saturday evening. Do not park there before 5:30pm.
The Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church lot
- 29 Central St.
- lot entrance is directly opposite the intersection of Cleveland St. and Central St.
- space for 90 cars
- walking distance to the Armory: 0.4 mile
- This is not a public lot but we have permission from the church to use it that Saturday evening.
Avoid any parking spaces marked with signs reserved for other use.
PAID parking is available at the locations listed here, with the prices variable, as posted.
Metered parking (on street parking)
- meters are active until 8pm, and free thereafter
- cost: $1.25/hour
- meters accept quarters, debit/credit cards, or use the Parkmobile app
- watch out for (and avoid) Resident Permit Only areas.
Municipal parking lots
- Davis Square - on Herbert St., Grove St., Elm St., and Buena Vista Rd.
