Jam sessions

Open sessions in Celtic and international folk music
Fourth Wednesdays, 7:30–9:30 pm

Beebe Estate parlor,

235 West Foster Street, Melrose, Massachusetts

Admission: FREE!

FAC and the Beebe Estate present monthly sessions in Celtic and international folk music for all instruments. The sessions are led by expert local musicians and are open to instrumentalists of all levels. Some sessions include singing.

Refreshments donated by Melrose’s Bohemian Coffeehouse are available during the sessions.

January 23 – Celtic music, led by Nancy Bell and Emerald Rae

February 27 – Scottish music, led by Hanneke Cassel

March 26 – Klezmer music, led by Steve Rauch

April 23 Old-Time music, led by Cathy Mason

May 28 – Scottish music, led by Barbara McOwen
June 25 French Canadian music, led by Debby Knight
July 23 – Waltzes and other couple dance tunes, led by Vince O’Donnell
August 27 – Traditional Celtic songs and tunes, led by Michael O’Leary
September 24 Cape Breton music, led by Kimberley Fraser
October 22 to be announced
