Romanian folk singing workshop
with
Teodor Anastasoaie

Seating limited to 15 people

FAC presents an afternoon workshop in singing traditional Romanian songs, led by Teodor Anastasoaie. Please contact the FAC office (781-662-7475 or fac@facone.org) to register and get directions to the workshop location at a private residence in Arlington, MA.

Teodor Anastasoaie was trained in Byzantine and Western music techniques in Romania, where he spent five years in the seminary and four at the Theological Institute in Bucharest. He conducts the Byzantine choir at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Allston, MA, and recently received his Master of Theology degree at Holy Cross School of Theology. He has performed Romanian folk songs at FAC’s 2007 Romanian Night and Benefit Bash.
