Hungarian Weekend

was held on

Friday, November 7:

8–10 pm Workshop in basic recreational Hungarian dances

Saturday, November 8:

1–2:45 pm Workshop in dances from the Szilagysagi region of Transylvania

3–4:45 pm Workshop in dances from the Gyimes region of Transylvania

5:15–6:15 pm Culture Corner (lecture/slide presentation by Éva)
6:30–7:30 pm Hungarian supper

8–11 pm Workshop review and táncház (Hungarian dance party) with music by Trei Arcusi

The Folk Arts Center was pleased to welcome Éva Mária Kish back to Boston for a weekend to teach short choreographed dances, updates to classic Hungarian dances, and more involved improvisatory táncház material.
