To benefit the Folk Arts Center of New England

Join renowned Turkish dance leader Ahmet Lüleci and the Folk Arts Center as we present our first dance workshop of the socially distanced era via Zoom, the popular teleconferencing platform.

There is no charge to join this online workshop but we suggest a minimum donation of $10.

A native of Turkey, Ahmet Lüleci is a perennial favorite among recreational and professional folk dancers the world over. He has taught at all the major camps throughout the U.S. as well as in Asia, Europe, Australia and South America. Ahmet is generously donating his time and expertise to help the Folk Arts Center in this time of social distancing.

Join Ahmet on Saturday, March 28, at 2pm Boston time (workshop 1), and at 3pm Boston time (workshop 2) for these special online teaching sessions. Ahmet will teach a variety of dances, present different material in each workshop, and be able to interactively answer questions from participants.

What you need to join

Prior to Saturday afternoon, March 28, download the plugin or app appropriate for how you choose to view the workshop:

You will be asked if you wish to join using your app or your browser. You decide which you want and proceed to the online waiting room. The workshop will not start until 1:45pm Boston time, Saturday March 28. Prior to that time, you will see a message saying “the meeting has not yet started.” If you see that message, you are ready to join the workshop at 1:45 when we “open the doors.”
