Boston Celtic Music Festival

FAC sponsors BCMFest, presenting performances and parties in traditional Celtic music and dance. This two-day January event features regionally-based performers active in the Boston Celtic music scene.

Balkan Music Night

FAC’s seven-hour feast of Balkan music showcases bands from near and far in a concert followed by an extended Balkan folk dance party. This late-winter event also features sing-alongs, refreshments, and a “kefana” with acoustic music and ambience.

Elegant Evening

Formal and/or ethnic attire is encouraged for FAC’s evening of elegant dances from the international, English, Scottish, and vintage ballroom repertoire. Preceded by an afternoon workshop that previews the dance program, this spring event features live music and gourmet refreshments.

FAC Benefit Bash

FAC’s fall fundraising event opens with a concert by featured performers or groups. Instrumentalists and singers from local folk bands and choruses donate their talents for the international folk dance party that follows.

New Year’s Eve dance party

International folk dancing to music by The Pinewoods Band, festive decorations, a midnight toast, and plentiful refreshments ring in the New Year.
