Electronics Recycling Day

A fundraiser to benefit the Folk Arts Center of New England

Saturday, April 10, 2010, 9 am–2 pm

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the great success of this fundraising event!

The following items are accepted for responsible recycling for a fee of $10 per item:

laptops, computer monitors, computers, fax machines, copy machines, printers, scanners.

Televisions and air conditioning units are accepted for a fee of $20 per item ($10 of which is paid to the recycling company).
Hard drive shredding is done for free on site in the parking lot, if you have removed the drive fom the computer.

CRT Recycling Inc. of Brockton, MA will supply the truck and the manpower for FAC’s Electronics Recycling Day. FAC receives the proceeds from the donation fees.

On April 10, the CRT truck will be in the parking lot at the FAC office (get directions). You drive in, pay FAC a fee per item donated, drop off your items, and leave knowing that you’ve cleaned out some unwanted stuff from your house, and benefitted FAC and the environment at the same time!

If you have items to recycle but cannot come to the office on April 10, contact FAC to arrange for a pick-up at your home or a drop-off at an FAC event. Fee payment must accompany each item donated.

Please help spread the word about this worthwhile event! All items accepted are processed in a socially and environmentally responsible way at CRT Recycling Inc.’s facility in Brockton, MA. For more information, see “Frequently Asked Questions” on CRT Recycling’s website.
