The Folk Arts Center Benefit Bash starts with a concert of original compositions and traditional music in arrangements for classical ensembles, performed by many of the musicians who play for other FAC events throughout the year. The program also features performances by the young dancers of Candyrapper and Mladost. After the performances, the chairs are put away and an international folk dance party begins, with live music, featuring dances accessible to all.
Many thanks to the performers who donated their services for the 2009 Benefit Bash, and to all who organized, staffed, and attended the event. Your support of FAC is greatly appreciated!
